Kindergarten to 8th Grade

Our classes are multi-leveled and grouped accordingly for all academic subjects.  Kindergarten – 3rd grade subjects are done within the classroom, 4th-6th grade has most subjects within the one classroom with a few subjects departmentalized (transitioning to Middle School), and 7th – 8th grade subjects are completely departmentalized (transitioning to High School).

We focus on the success of every child within the major subject areas while also incorporating Spanish, art, music, Suzuki violin, physical fitness, and STEAM to develop the whole child.

We also encourage the children to take time out with at least 30 minutes of recess each day.

Time is taken out each day for religious education and the children attend chapel once a week.

While homework is important to help reinforce skills learned in class, it is not given in large amounts and is not given to finish work that should have been completed in class.  If more time is needed for the students to fully understand the material/concepts, more classroom time will be utilized (using different teaching/learning methods, materials, etc.) so that the teacher may properly guide and oversee each student's progress.

Please contact the school office at (718) 225-5502 for more information.

We do have Chromebooks for our Middle School scholars to use, but encourage our students to learn the art of taking notes, performing calculations, and writing essays using pen/pencil to paper.

When our technology needs repairs, we are so blessed to have a technician just a couple of blocks down the road at Guru Repairs. He is trustworthy and always goes above and beyond. To get the same treatment for your technology, just go to him and mention our school.
